Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimenez; September 2, 1966)[3][4][5[5]] is a Mexican and American actress as well as film producer. Her film career began in Mexico which she played in the telenovela Teresa (1989-1991) as well as the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) which earned her an Ariel Award nomination. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) are just some of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's role as Frida Kahlo as a painter, in Frida (2002) the biographical feature she co-produced, earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[6]. The actress also earned her Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Hayek starred in the action-packed Once Upon a Time in Mexico films over the next years and concentrated more on producing.
