Kellie 2 Kellie 4 Jennifer Jennifer 1Kellie was one of the most popular "American Idols", even though she was not a finalist. Kellie Pickler was born the 28th June in 1986 Stanly Memorial Hospital Albemarle. Her parents are Cynthia Morton and Clyde Raymond Pickler. The time she was pregnant she was just aged 16. The childhood of Pickler was not easy due to her father's addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs even though her mother had divorced from her aged only 2. Morton returned to take control for a few years, but Pickler acknowledged that it was not going well. "I remember that my mother as well as me in the same kitchen, and I told her "I'd rather be dead than there with you. I'd rather God took me off.' She got off a knife from the kitchen and put it in the middle of the counter. Then she said: "Here you go." Fourth grade. Of course I never would have acted upon it and it's caused me a lot of emotional scarring," she said. Pickler aged 12-years-old, was handed her grandparents' custody following the court hearing. Pickler was brought up by her grandparents for the rest of her life, citing them as having the most significant influence on her life. The year was January 2002 when her grandmother Faye Pickler passed away from lung cancer. She was raised by her grandfather. Pickler is a graduate of North Stanly High School, located in New London (North Carolina).
