Rene Marie Russo has been an actress, supermodel as well as a film maker in the United States. She started her professional career by being an amateur, performing various regional competitions prior to joining Invicta Fighting Championships. And then she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Following her joining of the UFC in 2011, she became famous thanks to the popularity she achieved both on and off the octagon. Namajunas is an Lithuanian born American, who was born on June 29, 1993 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Rose participated in sports such as basketball and kickboxing while growing older. at the age of 18, she began her professional career with Invicta Fighting Championships where she fought two times via submission. The fights caught the eye to Dana White who signed her to join UFC the strawweight division at the age of twenty-two years of age. Her career has had both lows and highs and she's able to come out of her fights with a win. Rose fought Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. She won the fight via technical knockout in just 3 minutes after the start of the round. It was the first ever female to fight for a title title with any of the major promotions in the world. Namajunas was able to record many more victories, including two wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
